E Real Estate is a comprehensive property listing and management solution built natively for Joomla 4 and Joomla 5. Whether you're running a local estate agency, a large property portal, or a holiday rental directory, SE Real Estate gives you all the tools to publish, manage, and market properties — without relying on third-party SaaS platforms or page builders.

Property Listings

Each property supports a full set of listing fields including title, price, bedrooms, bathrooms, floor area, address, postcode, and full GPS coordinates. Listings can be categorised across nine property types — house, apartment, condo, villa, townhouse, penthouse, studio, land, and commercial — and given a status of For Sale, For Rent, Sold, or Rented. Multi-currency display is supported out of the box, covering USD, EUR, GBP, AED, AUD, CAD, INR, and JPY.

Each listing can include a featured image, an unlimited photo gallery, and a virtual tour URL that automatically embeds supported 360° and video tour providers directly on the property detail page.

Maps & Search

Properties are displayed on an interactive map view, powered by GPS coordinates entered at the time of listing. Visitors can switch between a grid/list view and the map view to browse properties geographically. The built-in search and filter system lets users narrow results by type, status, price range, bedrooms, bathrooms, and location.

Agent Management

Create agent profiles with name, email, phone, biography, and photo. Agents can be assigned to individual properties. Enquiry emails are routed to the assigned agent automatically, with a configurable option to also copy the site administrator.

Saved Searches & Alerts

Registered users can save their search criteria and receive automated email alerts when new matching properties are published, or when the price of a saved property changes. Alerts are delivered via Joomla's native mailer and can be triggered by cron job using the included CLI script.

AI Property Chat

An optional AI-powered chat widget on each property page lets visitors ask natural-language questions about a listing and receive instant, contextually accurate answers — reducing enquiry volume and improving buyer engagement around the clock.

Administration

The component ships with a clean administration dashboard showing listing counts and quick-access navigation. Bulk CSV import and export makes it straightforward to migrate an existing portfolio or manage listings in a spreadsheet. A demo data installer lets you populate a fresh site in seconds for testing or client demonstrations.

Featured Properties Module

The included mod_serealestate_featured module lets you display a configurable grid of featured listings anywhere on your site using Joomla's standard module positions. Control the number of items, filter by property type or status, and toggle the display of price, beds, baths, floor area, location, agent, and status badge — all from the familiar Joomla module parameters panel.

Technical

SE Real Estate is built to Joomla 4/5 coding standards — namespaced MVC architecture, Joomla Input API, native session and token handling, and full GPL v2 licensing throughout. It is listed on the Joomla Extensions Directory and receives updates via the built-in Joomla update server.
