SE AI App Builder turns an idea into a working Joomla app in minutes. Describe what you need, for example "event bookings with a waiting list and reminder emails", and the AI designs the records, fields, forms and lists. You can also build the app yourself with the visual builder, or start from one of 21 ready-made recipes covering clubs and sport, events and bookings, membership, fundraising, business and operations.

Your data is protected at every step. The AI never writes SQL or code. It produces an app design that is checked before anything happens. Every database change is shown to you first, and a backup is taken automatically, so any change can be undone. Apps use real database tables, which keeps them fast and easy to work with as they grow.

Apps can be as simple or as capable as you need:

• Forms. Show fields only when they're relevant, calculate totals as people type, check entries against your own rules, and split long forms into steps.
• Linking records. Link records together, narrow one dropdown by the choice made in another, and add child rows such as order lines inside the parent form.
• Sign-ups. Site forms can create Joomla user accounts, so a membership sign-up gives each member a login and a "my records" page.
• Displaying records. Show records as tables, cards, a grid, a calendar or a map, with saved views, totals, grouping and charts.
• Engagement and search. Visitors can comment on and rate records, and records can appear in Joomla's Smart Search.
• Automation. Rules send emails, update records, call webhooks and run on a schedule.
• Payments. Optional Stripe and PayPal payments let a form take money for a booking, an order or a donation.
• Getting records on the page. The module and content plugin put any list, form or chart on any page.

You stay in control of who sees what, with permissions set per type of record. The Appearance screen lets you change colours and layout without touching code. Designers can add CSS that only affects the app, or override layouts in their template. CSV import and export, print and save-as-PDF, and labels translated into other languages are all built in. The interface is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese.

AI features use your own key from OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini. Building, editing and running apps works fully without AI.
